I was recommended this place by my Japanese friend who called the food at this place "authentic". He was most definitely correct, because the sushi was absolutely amazing, reminds me of the high-end sushi you'd get from London and Hong Kong, but at a local Potter's Bar price. Staff was very friendly. Couldn't recommend this place more highly.

This place is a little hidden gem in potters bar! Went here for a sit down lunch with my hubby and we would highly recommend it! The chefs were kind and helpful. The sushi was freshly prepared and delicious! We also had the donburi and miso soup, which was all really tasty. We also enjoyed browsing the selection of Japanese groceries. It is worth popping in, even if you just want to get someone a bag of Japanese tea or coffee or some mochis! A really lovely shop. I will definitely be back.

Excellent sushi and service! If we are driving by London this is always our preferred stop. Leila and Yoko are so kind and friendly. Excellent hospitality and the food is so fresh and delicious.

Absolutely incredible sushi – so fresh and full of flavour. The staff were genuinely lovely and made the whole experience even better. Can’t wait to come back!

This is an excellent sushi and Japanese boutique, eat-in or take away. Think of carefully cooked and produced produce and really great flavours. Exactly what Japanese food should be.

My Japanese friend introduced me to this place and I can honestly say it's the best sushi I've ever had. Everything is flavourful, fresh and great value. The restaurant has a charming relaxed atmosphere. The bento box is especially good value, and the Futomaki is my favourite!

I live in Japan and on my last day in potters bar before flying out we decided to visit this little gem. I was very skeptical naturally (living in Japan) but was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the poke bowl style and the portion, balance of flavors and texture was exquisite!! Highly recommend this place. Loved it!!!

Cute little place I’ve been meaning to come to for a while now and I gotta agree with everyone else in here. Everything is delicious and you can see the chef prepare your order fresh while you wait. I’m always leery of seafood that’s too far away from a port or city centre, so I only got the eel and tuna this time and I wish I had got more! Absolutely no complaints, definitely definitely try the unagi here!! I would love if they did different flavour rice balls but I liked the ones I got. I also got some genmaicha and I could tell it wasn’t like, bagged or anything! Sooo good!
